Well not unexpectedly the season came to an end on Saturday morning when the intruding male broke the final egg.
As EJ is still in brooding mode she is still spending a lot of time on the nest brooding non existent eggs.
It now remains to be seen what will happen next. A variety of things could happen but as always with ospreys they will usually surprise us.
I guess the only way to find out is to keep watching.

I can't believe this news, so many times these last few days ive felt like crying, now I have, I do hope he's ok, and now strong enough between them to see of OC.
If only he knew how many of us were hoping for this, he's one very special osprey

No all died due to weakness and early hatch and nothing to do with Henry. Tiger commented recently with very useful info on why second clutches are unsuccessful.

I did wonder when I saw there was skydancing whilst OC was on the nest whether it might be Odin.. and also that fish disappeared SOOO fast, could it be that EJ had taken it, eaten some, and then found him and given him the rest?
Early this morning, I said I didn't think this season was at all over. And it isn't!
