There are two intruders.  Odin is clearly chasing off one while EJ is defending the nest from the other.

"Odin has been around this morning chasing off a very persistent intruder - what do you think of him!"

They posted a photo of Odin.

Remember : this  isn't Odin, it's the intruder!   Is rather like him though

Looks like the weather's deteriorating.  Will Odin have a chance to go fishing?  My fingers are crossed.

I think that the evidence suggests that Odin is not deterring the intruder. Why that is so we do not know but it seems to be the inevitable conclusion.
