As usual, there was the good and the not-so-good yesterday.
The Good
~ EJ got TWO portions of fish!
~ EJ was in fine voice.
~ No-one got hurt.
~ It didn't snow or rain heavily.
The Not-so Good
~ The intruders are still around, tho they were easily sent packing by Odin.
~ The cam has been buffering and blacking out very frequently.
~ Some of us have had great difficult accessing the LG forum.
Generally, it was a very good day for our birds, and that's what matters.
IMAGICAT
A bird as sensible as EJ would never take unnecessary risks with her precious eggs. She's travelled too far to risk a wasted journey.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I think I told you, I've got O S M (without spaces) in my text inserter, so I've only got to type those 3 letters an OLDSHOREMORE comes out in capital letters ;-D
Good morning everyone. Got in such a do-da trying to join in that I forgot to say it, and thanks for your comments.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Scylla I'm pretty low-tech, and have no idea what a text inserter is, but it obviously works!

Not surprising given the potential drama !.
Birdies LG DU update.

So glad I didn't offend you OSM :)
I rather like the name Oldshoremore. Did you have a particular place in mind when you chose it?
Not at all Cirrus! (Seeing my post highlighted has revealed one glaring error that I failed to spot before posting - the word MANY, should, of course, be MAYBE). All this live forum stuff takes some getting used to...
It does OSM - may times I just djon't have the 'inside stuffing' to edit all my mistakes (like now :) )
Yes, Clare - It's the name of a stunningly beautiful, remote, quiet, and peaceful bay in the far Northwest of Scotland. My all-time favourite place. Been going every year since 2000. Highly recommended to anyone who loves unspoilt, natural environments.
