Happy New Week
Heather - I have certainly not discarded winter jumpers yet, I have not given up my thermal vests yet! Very chilly wind today. Glad to hear that Mia's party went well, better to have too much food than too little, easy to get rid of, as you say.
Clare - cannot help laughing at the image of Limpy surrounded by cocktails!!
Lindybird - Glad that Bonnie enjoyed her walk and meeting lots of admiring people.!
RITA sent you a PM
Dibnlib - Thank you for PM and recommendation.
Hi all, hope you are all keeping reasonably well. Not been on here for a few days as have been watching the osprey nests.
All good here, weather was a bit dull but very windy then it brightened up, got the washing out, then went overcast this afternoon. OH had his first session commentating at the opening match of the season down at Northants ground. He's there again tomorrow and Wednesday. Its all go now the season has started so I'm left at home a cricket widow so to speak. Never mind I can potter about and do things I want to do without interuption.

Evening all: Nice day here; busy and got a lot of this and that done, but all good.
Heather: Good that Mia enjoyed her party. Can't imagine 55 (gasp!) begonias.
Lynette: Enjoy your days as a cricket-widow; sounds like a nice thing for your OH.
AQ: We have a new program from OZ here called The Doctor Blake Mysteries. The characters are currently in what I assume is a church with stained-glass windows and guess who I thought of!! Half expected to see you pop up with your camera. :-)
Have a nice Monday all.
Awwww! Lindy, that's adorable.
It's a beautiful day here - a bit chilly but I don't mind.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good Morning Everyone. A bright morning, forecast to get better, so I have a load of washing hanging outside.
Just had to laugh. A neighbour alerted me, so I went to have a look. In a lane, which we join from our Close, is a deep, wide hole, which is much deeper than any others and definitely has to be avoided. Somebody has filled it in with compost and planted some flowering daffodils. I gather many have photographed it and sent the pictures to the County Council and the local newspaper.OH has been to take his own photograph, but a tractor has driven over it. It could be dangerous as now, it is not obvious that there is such a deep hole there.
