I notice that the branch across the egg cup was moved when they were at home, but is back again while the nest is empty - risking being accused of anthropomorphism, it seems to be a sign to other Ospreys saying "this nest is taken"!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

Both arrive back at nest, a quick and clumsy mating session, Odin leaves and Ej rearranges the nest materials that Odin carefully placed a short while ago.

They both returned to nest. A rapid mating and Odin leaves. EJ rearranging the twigs.

Just watching EJ. As she moves one lot of twigs out of the cup, she is dragging more twigs back into the cup with her feet ! Odin will not be pleased.

With that strong wind up there it looks like the nest is moving!!!! Poor EJ she is fairly getting buffetted by that wind!!
Yes Tish. I am surprised she is staying there. I am sure she could stay in the dead tree and be more comfortable, and still watch the nest.
