IN THE HUMAN BREAST HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
In February we said goodbye to Millicent, EJ's 100th chick to fledge from the famous nest. We continue to watch Breagha, our only remaining tagged osprey juvenile.
In March we await the arrival of EJ and Oden, to start another family of fascinating bobbleheads.
Love it! Mind if I copy to ATC thread? or can you?
COUNTDOWN FOR LOCH GARTEN NEST
7 days till EJ'S RETURN on Wed March 25th
13 days till ODIN'S RETURN on Wed March 31st
ONE WEEK till my prediction day, but already nests are being watched eagerly. Still NOTHING official from LG either cam or blog, but MIKE on the prediction thread thinks there is much ado behind scenes re cam.
Oh! I hope the cams are up and running for EJ and Odins arrival! Wonder who the next arrival will be? Look forward to seeing the 2 fish Dots! Hope he has a partner this year. Hope he pairs with Blue 28? Was it her who fought with Glesni last year? That unseemly brawl :(
June you are welcome to copy to the "All Things Christmas" thread! Not sure how to do it. Thanks
THREE EMPTY NESTS
We're waiting.

It was Blue 24 who fought with Blue 12 (GLESNI) in the fierce battle. I assume that both went there own way Blue 24 remained an unattached female wandering around Wales and Dai Dot went and got his own nest and female. And Blue 12 (GLESNI) lived happily with Monty for 2014. Sound like a fairy tale with a happy ending except as you say Blue 24 needs a man.
Hope this helps you :).
58WILLOW - 28(10) is another bird who was on the Manton Bay nest at Rutland and paired with Mrs 5R (MAYA)- They had three eggs until Blue 33 came along and sent Blue 28 packing and booted out the three eggs. Yes hope he finds a nest also but am sure we may see him again in some format at Manton Bay along with Blue 33 providing they get back.
Many Ifs and Buts.
JUNE - I amanage to get around four nests in Aberdeenshire today and they were all empty.
Still very early yet.
Going home in the morning and will try and get around a few in Perthshire at the weekend and see if anybody is coming home.
Willow. how did we lose track of Dai Dot? Seems he had agreat summer.
Maybe KEITH with his super-radar can keep us informed.
