IN THE HUMAN BREAST HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
In February we said goodbye to Millicent, EJ's 100th chick to fledge from the famous nest. We continue to watch Breagha, our only remaining tagged osprey juvenile.
In March we await the arrival of EJ and Oden, to start another family of fascinating bobbleheads.
"Yes Jen Clark I think has taken over full duties.
Not sure if Richard has moved on with RSPB or severed his links completely.
He is involved with Limosa Holidays but he always did this when RSPB time allowed."
I received the above from someone who lives in the area. I shall miss Richard very much as I greatly admire his writing style.
It was with Limosa that I met him. He must have some other work because a few birding trips would not be enough to keep him occupied. He's very nice chap.

This couple was just doing some nest building.
Good evening all. The alcoa nest looks like a giant cake tin! Not long for the osp season to be in full swing!
Starling I love your new avatar is it your new puppy? Hope you get better sleep now! What a lovely pup!
How does MY garden grow? Found this when looking for my helleborus (Christmas rose).
Pushed aside a few dead oak leaves and found this. Alll still in bud.

Hi Willow, yes that is my puppy. I spent a week on my very uncomfortable sofa until he got a bit more used to being with us. He is a lot better now but still has a wee cry now and again.
What a shame about the break in at Dyfi. I hope they can get everything up and running before Monty arrives :(

Been travelling up north this evening and mixed news to switch on to at my hotel.
Can not believe what I was reading about DOP with the break-in. Emyr - Janine - Alwyn and all the volunteers have done so much since they first opened the door.
On the other side of the coin good to hear that 30(05) at RW is Homeward Bound having passed through Mauritania and now into Western Sahara. She appears to have left within a day or maybe the same day as 2014. Hope she finds a mate this year.
Trust you all have your lists to tick off the arrivals.
Keith, maybe you could do that for Gabfest - a chart similar to last year. :) Please?
