WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey) SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2015

Hi everyone!

  • Eldest is looking to buy a holiday home in rural Spain Lindybird...

Definitely encouraging her would be churlish not to;-)

  • I would tell her it could be a great investment, Wendy! And of course, you wouldn't mind popping over to check that all is ok there, a couple of times a year. .......
  • Evening all:  Friend departed in time for me to try out a different yoga teacher's class; she was good - young, but pretty clear on what she was doing and why, which is promising.  The entire yoga  program has been in flux for about 6 months ever since our longtime teacher finally quit to take care of aging parents. Then her wonderful substitute teacher had to cut back to just two classes a week for the same reason!  I've started practicing with her at her home (with other participants) one evening a week, but thought I'd try this new class.  We'll see........

Lindybird: Hope no more hats on your menu and that you're feeling better.  :-)   Do wish I could send you some of our weather - it's been so warm I've been rummaging for summer tee-shirts and getting quite grumpy about it. In the meantime, the poor folks in the northeastern states are looking at even more snow.

Heather:  Fingers crossed for a bad-news-free weekend.

Brenda: Thanks for passing on Margo's news. Hope that increasing her fluid intake helps with the mineral levels.  I have a hard time remembering to drink water during the course of a day and it's easy for people of - ahem - a certain age to get dehydrated without realizing it.

OG: How nice the pastor stopped by and that it had such a positive effect.  Which osprey sites are on your list to visit?  Apparently, folks have spotted an osprey down at the harbor and someone posted a (pretty bad) shot of it diving for fish on our local website today.

Wendyb:  Hurray for good family visits - and holiday homes in Spain.

AQ: Hope you're not completely worn out from nanny duty.

Really tired this evening; planning to stay very close to home this weekend so I can putter my way slowly through my To-Do list.

Thanks all for posts. Have a good Friday everyone - and feel better Margo.  :-)

  • Hi, all. Happy Friday the 13th, the first of 3 of them this year!

Really busy right now, so I haven't been posting. But I've been looking in.

    Lindy: The babies are beautiful!

Margo: Thinking of you and sending healing.

    Everyone take care of yourselves!

  • I have to agree with the coyote!

  • Good Morning, All. Raining on my windows!!! First time in weeks, it might even wash away the huge amount of bird poo on the ground under our trees, from the popular bird feeders. Diane - LOL!! Love Mr Coyote! Realised that you've been busy but hope its been productive. I don't worry about the 13th as my dear Mother used to say it was lucky for her!
  • Annette: Good that you've found another Yoga teacher. I keep saying that I'll do more of the moves at home (I sometimes practice the stretches) but I don't go to classes as my teacher lived in another town and reduced her travelling, which included our class. She was great, very patient and knowledgeable. Hope your new tree arrives OK, it sounds lovely. Send some of that warmth please!!!
  • Thinking of dear Margo again today. We are all with you, Margo.
  • Is nothing posting........?????

  • Posted the above as a Test because my last post didn't post.... It must be a busy day today for everyone, or else you are all having the same problems!!!
