WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey) SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2015

Hi everyone!

  • Aaaaaah Starling, Thank you. He has those heart melting blue eyes. I would just love to cuddle him.

  • Quick look in: More gray and light rain today; just spoke to sister in Lincolnshire and they'd been out for a lovely walk under blue skies and sunshine.

Brenda: Ha!  Funny you should ask; thing is, my OH really likes this friend so he'll probably hang out with us longer than usual.  :-)

Starling: Little pup looks so apprehensive.  It'll be so nice to be able to make him feel safe and wanted.

  • Hello Everyone - Lovely sunny day here today , I even managed to go out and do a little gardening.  On Friday had  a visit to the Physiotherapist, and a shopping day, and yesterday I had a really good Cactus Club meeting with slide shows of many good plants and lots of chocolate biscuits to eat in between!

Starling - What a really gorgeous little puppy, you must be looking forward to getting him home.  I also like the name 'Ghillie'.

Clare - Very pleased to hear that Limpy is improving.

Dibnlib - so glad that you were able to cheer your friend up,and give her a nice day.

OG Loved the LG nest photograph, we have'nt long to wait now until the ospreys will start arriving back again.

  • Such a lovely puppy, Starling. I'm sure you'll be great together! Its been grey & misty here all day, no sign of the sunshine mentioned in other parts of the country. We walked to the shops & came home with some nice ham & cheese for our lunch. My OH has now gone off to watch the football on a big screen at the bowling club. I'm being lazy and at the same time, trying to read & throw out some old magazines. Got some pics on the email of our granddaughter sitting in her brand new high chair. Might be able to post one later.
  • Brenda: Hope you enjoyed your Italian meal. Havnt had one for ages. I love pizzas & pastas, and Italian meats. Rita: glad you finally got to have your Cactus Club meeting.
  • "I'm not sure about this high chair! Am I supposed to eat my hand?!!"
  • She was born with most of that hair!  We keep expecting it to fall out but guess it won't now! She's been "swimming" at the Mother & Baby class this week.

  • LINDY  trying to think what I posted this morning, think something along the lines of glad your visit was such fun and inspired another great ditty.

CLARE   glad to know that LIMPY is feeling a little better.

STARLING you may not know but we gor Benson from the breeder at 7 months old. She was going to keep him, but changed her mind. We therefor did not see him at just a few weeks old. Our 3 Goldies were all just a few weeks old when we first saw them, and boy were they beautiful. Do hope you get as much joy as we did from having a 4 legged member of the family.

Wonder if you all saw the happy ending to Kai's story (the dog left at Ayr station with all his worldly goods) He now has fallen on his paws and has a hew home in Newton Mearns and will be a companion for his new friend both at work and at play. A happy ending for both.

  • Busy day here guys getting ready for royal" eldests" visit..

If anything lingered for long it was cleaned.. including Daisy;-)

Managed a trip out and an unexpected lunch at the Gorden Castle restaurant in Fochabers. New to us and top dollar and table booked for lunch on Wednesday with daughter . OH is arranging work cover to join us.

Youngest sent me a parcel that arrived yesterday and Daisy loves postie( he has a White EBT)and a parcel apart from necessary stuff were 2 enormous carrots for her... Happy dog..
