  • Good Morning, All. Dry & grey here. Annette: Enjoy your rain!! We are off today, to see Youngest and his family. Spoke to Tomasz on the phone yesterday, and he was mega excited. Expect we will see a big change in little Matthew, as we've not seen him since Christmas, and I need one of his wobbly smiles!! We are now setting up the Skype on my new PC, so that we can keep in touch. But {whisper} I haven't dared turn it on since our Eldest left on Wednesday!! I will have to get to grips with the new system on Sunday, when I have time. Have a good weekend, Everybody!! Hope poor Limpy has had some relief from his painful back ........
  • Good Morning Everyone. It was a bright morning here but now grey and cloudy. Hopefully the bitingly cold wind will leave us today. Ironically, I woke up at 2am because I was too hot.

Our daughter was due to spend this weekend with us, but she will now have to work, so nothing planned.

  • Hello, on a very misty day. Was supposed to clear by noon, but no wind to blow it away. Snow still on the ground, but a little warmer than before.

Don’t think I’ll manage individual replies to all, but have enjoyed the chat.

Pleased Clare has another interview soon, but sorry about Limpy’s back pain.

Dibnlib – good to see photos of Benson again! I especially liked the second one. I love Hares in art, so I know I would be tempted!

Wendy – pleased your elder Daughter is making a visit soon.

AQ – I guess you will be lying low during the March Festivals. Maybe you’ll get some much-needed rest!

    Annette – enjoy the rain!

Linda – I am sure you are having a lovely day with the Grandsons; wishing you a good journey home.

Brenda – sorry daughter had to cancel her visit for work; I know how you look forward to time with your children.

OH is doing some woodwork in the meter cupboard: the electric one, which is right in the middle if the house, so I shall have to ask permission to walk through! J is out, so I am going to claim my craft desk and make a few more cards.

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

  • OG   what a wonderful pic, thank you.

Spoke to a friend on the phone yesterday and she was not in a good place. She knows she is welcome any time and I was pleased when she called back at 2100 and asked if we were in today. We said come for lunch and I made pasta with prawns.. veg, lemon and mascarpone. I have to say I excelled myself. When she arrived about 1100 it really was a case of get the tissues out as she was in tears. Anyway after lunch, a dog walk and coffee at Tiso and 6 hours of chat and plenty of laughter, she left us with a smile on her face. Job well done and we enjoyed her company as much as she did ours.

  • Well done, DIBNLIB - sounds like you were the friends she desperately needed today, and the excellent lunch too!
