Where did January go? Really interesting hearing about all the new/pending pups - think you have found some surrogate owners!!!

    I have a shortened nanny day as s-i-l will be home from work. However I am needed as Dau is taking Miss19 out to lunch for her birthday. 19 already!!!!!!!!!

    Margo - I had to laugh picturing you & Billie on the settee. Dau’s cat Merlin keeps sneaking in and is fast asleep when I want to sit in the most comfortable chair with supporting arms to feed L or J. He quickly moves when I descend. LOL

    Heather – Keep smiling & grit your teeth with Sheana. Poor lady, I wonder how confused she feels inside her head.

    Hello to everyone I haven’t mentioned. One of these days I hope I shall have time to stop lurking and to participate again instead of dashing in & out.

    Margo - trouble was I did ring from OH's mobile and got my voice mail - I had mine turned off, so that didn't help. Ha , ha. So pleased that you are beginning to feel a lot better.

    Brenda - belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and hope you had a nice meal with son.

    Although we had a covering of snow on Tuesday it has now all gone and has been raining, sleeting, at times today. Doesn't see quite as cold but forecast is for cold winds coming in!!!

    Managed to get up to 18 lengths today in 3 boughts of 6 so felt I did my exercising for the week, hmm.

    Diane - loved that cartoon.

    OG - glad J made it safely and I'm sure the checkup will go fine.

    Margo - I know what you mean about cats - they have minds of their own and if there is somewhere they want to sit they will. I have to turf one of ours of the chair as Pebbles has taken to sitting where I sit. Misty tends to want to sit with me in a morning after my breakfast so we have a few mins. together.

    Morning, all.  It's a beautiful day here, though very cold and windy.  My car has gone in for its MOT test - let's hope it celebrates its 20th birthday by passing!  Poor old Limpy is tucked up in bed with a bad back - he bent down on Wednesday and something went 'ping' - he's been in severe pain since and is really struggling.

    No news yet from my interview.  I now have another interview coming up on the 16th at an Audi dealership in Ipswich - fingers crossed!

    Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

    Clare, Sorry Limpy has back pain. I presume he is taking inflammatory tablets and has seen his Dr.

    Everything still crossed for you, re job. I hope there are no problems with your car.

    Sorry to hear about Limpy :-( that's so debilitating. Hope it goes right, maybe on its own. Brenda, thanks for taking the time to find out about our absent posters. Good to know that they still enjoy the Site, even if they don't have time to post on here. I'm off to lunch with my Friend, and expect we will look at doggy toys whilst in the Garden Centre!! ;-)
