I cannot find a new thread for Rutland 2015. Is that right?

TRANSFERRED OVER...
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Yes I vaguely remember that too. I think it was Monty. Just thought that the male would be nearby to relieve female for a toilet break.

And definitely 2 chicks hatching within a few hours of each other in 2013. See 'A nice surprise'. Looks like our lovely Maya may have some form on synchronised hatching of her first two babies...?

I don't know about anyone else but I have not been the least bit worried about this egg being left.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Me neither Chloe. It was less than an hour on a warm night for April so I am not at all concerned. I think bigger danger of egg being left is crows in the daytime (as we saw at LotL last year, or a pine marten at night in LG's case perhaps)
Yes, they are the biggest threats of all.
Just an arty pic ;-)
And a mauvy one:
(I went thru the footage and the egg was left for about 55 minutes, covered for half an hour, and left for another 15 minutes... ish. Not worried, just setting down stats :-) )
IMAGICAT
I've had PC crashes so can't say exactly, but the egg's been uncovered now for at least 20 minutes. Just sayin'... ;-)
Maya returned after 32+ minutes - watch those talons! ;-) Hmm, I think she knows what she's doing - her having been a rather successful parent up to now.
Just a few mins ago.
