I remember it well. It took forever to warm up - we went to LG for a week at the end of May and they were still getting snow in the middle of that month. I was very relieved when spring finally kicked in.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

LOL Scylla, very difficult. But then when I began watching the LG nest I had no idea how to id them! And remember what a challenge it was to id the three chicks!
