Happy New Week all: OH and I are off to see The Imitation Game tonight, then will pick up dinner from our favorite Chinese restaurant on our way home.
Heather: You're not living a sheltered life, or if you are, we're all there with you (and happy to be so). Seems like bad language and a general lack of civility are endemic these days - it's so depressing. And to think the English language is so rich yet people have to use the "last resort" words first. :-(
Clare: My friend's daughter is a Downs Syndrome adult now and still needs supervision. It must be a huge worry, especially as parents age. Didn't know it could also mean heart problems as well.
Brenda: Hope the Quiz was fun.
Thanks all for posts! Take care.
talking of leaving doors open, OH goes out through conservatory to put bins out late afternoon and comes in again forgetting to lock door - I've come down in a morning and found it unlocked. Luckily nobody ventured in during the evening. He's also left key in garage door on the odd occasion only to be found still in tact the next morning. We have a hiding place for a spare key if ever we should get locked out but .............not done as yet.
The fall - a little bit achy, still a small lump on forehead and knee a bit sore, wrenched arm a bit, but apart from those I'm fine. Going swimming tomorrow so will go in the jacuzzi, mmm.
Well at least you got your priorities right Heather. LOL.
Probably get the tail end of the latest storm, overnight. Take care all.
