How can it be September; it was only just July......
ANNETTE not a touchy subject with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Off to work now, Bye
Hello everyone! have been very busy sanding and staining my windows outside and not before time , they really needed it. It is looking very smart now but there are still three more to do! I spent all yesterday afternoon sanding down my garden seat, as that needed doing also. I am very sentimental about that seat as it used to belong to my grandparents , I used to sit on it when I was a little girl while my granny read me stories! Must go to B&Q now to get some stain. It is a glorious day here today for a change , so I am going to drop everything and go out to the beach with Amber!
Lindybird - Loved the pictures of your little granddaughter, and I am so sorry to hear that your D in L to be had a bad time at the birth, I do hope she will feel better soon, she seems to have a very capable husband!
Annette - What a dreadful fight you had with your slip-covers! Hope you are recovering now, don't blame you having a rest and change from it today. cannot believe how smooth my outside work has gone so far, I usually knock over the tin of paint or fall off the step-ladder! having said that, I am firmly touching wood!
Heather - Hope your garden is returning normal, there is so much to do when you get back from holiday. I expect that you had a good time in Cornwall though; my daughter and family were down there at the same time as you staying just outside Mevagissey in their caravan. They went into Mevagissey for one or two evening meals.
Brenda - I hope you have a lovely day with your daughter, with the same lovely weather that we have here.

Morning all:
Lindybird: Good to know it's a only a question of time before son's partner is back to normal (and thank you for not going into details!) :-)
Rita: How nice to have something so special from your g'parents. I'd be sentimental about that too.
Lynette: Thanks for lovely pix from Pete's etc.
Off to peruse the day's options! :-)
