I am creating a quick new thread about this site so as not to overload 'News from other nests' as there is so much going on at present ! I did a search & could not find any posts since it was mentioned in April!
I started watching just a week ago when I accidentally discovered there was still a fledgling Osprey, Pia, on the nest! The livecam image is so sharp & the cam operator gives great closeups & panoramic views around the Bay with all it's small shipping movements! Pia can often be seen perching on moored boats' masts!
I have managed to get some info ... parents Rachel & Steve with three chicks this year - Poole, Pan & Pia! Two have gone on migration but don't know if they have trackers; also this nest is one of Dr Rob Bierregaard's & he does some Q&A sessions on this Audubon website but have to backtrack to glean facts!
