Happy New Week all.
CLARE: The BBC website has language lessons in French/German/Spanish and Italian. See http://www.bbc.com/ then scroll all the way down to the gray box and Learning Other Languages. Bon chance! (Oh, but wait, that's not German....)
Thanks, Annette, I'll give it a look!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
If you haven't read today's New Blog from Richard, Millicent also went over the Bay of Biscay and is now in Spain.
Clare, Glad you enjoyed your holiday, although I am sure the time went too quickly.
Annette, I have a Mac Book Pro, which is probably not what you are talking about, but I know that they are cheaper in America.
I did cut the grass and we both did some pruning and dug up a bush, which keeps growing sideways and onto the drive. The bin is full now.
Thanks, Brenda - I'll read it now.
BRENDA - well done with the gardening; I wasn't sure from your earlier post whether you would actually summon up the energy to do it! Rain arrived here as we came out of church last evening (all 3 of us, as J was playing); everything is drying out this morning, with bright sky but white clouds not quite gone away.
This site was down early this morning, so maybe the "night shift" were unable to get on. Seems okay now.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good Morning Everyone. The morning started very sunny and bright, but is clouding over now, heralding the forecast rain.
OG, Once I got started in the garden, I just kept going. It all looks much better this morning. I have arranged for a gardener to cut the hedges. We usually do it ourselves but OH won't allow me to use the long, extended, electric hedge trimmer, while he is banned from doing such jobs :-))
I hope everyone is fine this morning
CONGRATULATIONS LINDA and to the parents. Marvellous news. Love her name. I hope Mum and baby are fine.
A belated Happy Birthday to you.
