Happy New Week all.
Roy Dennis has just sent the following message to the folks at Dyfi and thought worth sharing here
"You and your bloggers might be interested to watch two films on the BBC The One Show on Monday and Tuesday early evening 1st & 2nd September for Mike Dilger's short films on our Basque Country Osprey Reintroduction Project - Monday in Scotland & Tuesday near Bilbao. Some nice filming in it of collecting in Scotland and release at Urdaibai reserve."

Sorry Goldfinch was just trying to help Clare with her German.
Wie gehts, Fish?
Ich liebe Fischadlers!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
No probs, Fish, always good to see you. BTW, how are things?
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Clare I think we better stick to good old "English" before we get in to trouble with the rest of our friends. lololol
Fish Adler German for Osprey????????????
Yup. I had to look it up, though. The region of Germany we stayed in sees them very rarely - only on migration - though we saw our very first black kites on our way to a wildlife park near Daun. Woo Hoo!
Hello Everybody. Sorry, I speak very little German so won't attempt to write anything. We enjoyed the barbecue last night. The doubles match didn't finish until just before 8.30pm. It was quite dark with no moon, just the indoor/ outdoor lights of the clubhouse. It was very difficult for the four players.
I am trying to get enthusiastic about cutting the grass as there is drizzle forecast for tomorrow and the garden refuse is collected on Tuesday.
Catch up later :-))
HI Brenda, Clare was just showing off after her holiday to Germany. We had some fun.
Hi everyone, talking about languages, I never learnt any as when I was at Secondary school languages were not taught. However I do have a basic knowledge of French due to OH learning it at G.School and whenever we went across the water I was able to use it albeit very sparse. Also learnt a few basic Greek words and I tell you what, even if you can't speak the language if you can speak the odd word like hello, goodbye, thankyou, they really appreciate you taking the trouble. Well done Clare at least you tried. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Right, enough of going on about languages.
Having a very laid back day, OH and I at home for lunch. Dau. back soon from a weekend away at at friends in Stevenage.
Our Ladies group restarts this coming week at church so off to that on Tuesday. My how it has come round quickly considering we stopped meeting in June for the summer. Time really is flying.
Hope you are all OK.
