Evening all: It's 3:30 a.m. UK time. All quiet at the nest. Sunrise in Edinburgh will be at 5:57 a.m....
First glimmers in the sky of a new day at LG. All quiet at both LG and LotL. Anyone out there?
OK! EJ (I assume) at the nest at 10:13 p.m. California time; 5:15 UK time. We're still in B&W and picture contrast is a bit extreme so can't see much differentiation in her shading. She's looking around. I was going to say, for those who missed it, Teresa very kindly posted a link to her photobucket showing EJ's arrival at the nest on Richard's blog. Teresa: Hope you don't mind I'm copying it here for others: s257.photobucket.com/.../Teresa__1945
EJ still there; poking about a bit with twigs. Anyone else out there seeing this?
Well, so long as she's there, EJ has decided to start cleaning house but is still looking around as if she's expecting somebody to show up. Aren't we all? :-) Looks pretty breezy there; judging from her ruffled feathers. By the way, see Diane's "Welcome home" to EJ (and Odin) on the Weekly Chat. Still quiet at LotL.
I'm here Annette and watching EJ nest rearranging as the sun rises. FAB!
Time in Chicago is 12:28 a.m.
Hey Caerann: You're up late. Isn't this great? She certainly seems interested in her surroundings....
This is truly sublime, I have to say!
Oooh, now we've lost all that white noise in the background so we can actually see her more clearly now! She did look rather ethereal in the white noise though...............
Aha. And we have color at 5:35 U.K. time. Hmmm. Looks like a gray day anyway; still markings are much clearer and there's our girl! Still looking around a lot.
I forget when Odin showed up last year; hope he gets a move on!
My, busy rearranging the furniture already. Certainly hope that's not a very old fish she's pecking at! Oh, very interesting, digging out the nest with her feet. Never seen that move before. Now she's spotted the camera. ("Where have I seen that before?") Don't worry, EJ, it's just the nosey neighbors.
