Since the osprey threads tend to be here...these are the ospreys nesting at one of our local lochs (nice view of the nest from the hide too!).

ROBERTO - I have just found your link to your Photostream, what a fantastic selection of photographs. They are all brilliant but I especially love the Loch Garten photos :-) Thank You for sharing them!

I'd like to echo Starling's remarks. It has indeed been great to get your first hand accounts and photos.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Mary, Mike and WendyBartter, happy you liked them. I suggest we should keep this thread focused on Balgavies (and maybe Loch of Kinnordy) Ospreys though. I would feel guilty if we slipped out of track because I was lazy in NOT creating a dedicated gallery... LOL
Feel free to send me a private message if you want to comment other pictures, we can start another thread if anything is felt of common interest.
No worries Roberto, thread's often take little diversions but they soon get back on track again. :-)
Bit like you Mary !! LOL.
Thank you for the lovely comments all, I'm glad so many of you have enjoyed the updates! I will certainly start a new thread when the adults return next year, and next year I will be watching out for their return!
I have been reminding myself of this lovely thread which I read with interest last year. Does anyone know whether Green BF(04) and White UF(09) have returned this year? I am still hoping that we might see or hear of Blue YD(12) one day.

Sheila glad you resurrected this thread. I have not heard if the resident pair have returned yet or not, but I will be visiting soon and will do a report hopefully saying that they have returned.
Im counting down the weeks until I return to Scotland. I always spend at least 2 wks a year there visiting friends. Balgavies Loch is 5 mins from where I stay and it has become my second home. I have been watching the Ospreys that visit there for the past 3 years. To say its become an obsession is an understatement, I can sit for hours in that hide :-)
Allison I totally agree, I have been visiting for the last 3 years too, it is only a small hide but usually friendly banter between people, I also like to go out to Loch of Kinnordy and have seen Ospreys fish there too.
