Since the osprey threads tend to be here...these are the ospreys nesting at one of our local lochs (nice view of the nest from the hide too!).

On my last trip away end of April I visited Balgavies Loch, and was lucky enough to see Green BF pluck a huge fish out of the loch just to the left of the hide.
Please excuse the non-sharp photographs, I do not have any fancy long lens, these are just to show a record of the big catch by the male.

Mike - I have a 300 mm lens, but the guys on either side of me had lenses as long as my arm, one nice guy actually let me have a try with his camera, I could hardly hold the camera and ended up snapping a photo of some distant trees, (I think I will stick with what I have) at least I can hold it ha ha....
