Will EJ return this week? What if another female tries to claim the nest? Will super-Odin return to fish another year? Or will EJ take another mate (she'd better not!!) Will YOU be the lucky blogger to catch the first glimpse of an osprey at LG? Tune in to the Loch Garten LIVE webcam for the first installment of Loch Garten Ospreys - 2010!!
Seriously, lots of interesting chat on the last page or two of the previous week's chatter. Catch up now because you won't have time once the ospreys are back in town! :-)
Does anyone have a good photo of EJ - and maybe Odin - for those of us who may need a reminder or are first-time EJ watchers?) I can't find one handily on the RSPB site?
Wow, just in from work and that looks like Marge at LOTL to me. Fantastic to think that she's made it back at her age.
She certainly seems at home. Taking charge of reorganising the nest right away.

Annette if you use the printscreen key at the top of your keyboard it takes a copy of the webpage. You can then right click and paste it into an editing programme. I use PhotoFiltre but you can use whatever you have. In there you can crop out the part you want and save it to your computer. Hope that helps :)

Hmm. Chloe. Thanks. Did that; edited it in Photoshop Elements and saved it but cannot get it to upload. Will keep trying.... Must dash now. Site seems slow today....

She looks so at home It's wonderful to see her back,. I remember my huge excitement when I saw her return last year.
I'm looking forward to my visit in July already :)

SueC, thanks for the longtailed tits with their nest, so sweet!
Caerann I intend to see Alice in Wonderland, if I can just find a spare evening. I sometimes used to go to the independent cinema in Carlisle on a Saturday afternoon but it’s gone now and there’s only a horrible chain one, so we have to go all the way to Workington. Fortunately it’s on this side of the river, as there is still no road into Workington after the November floods.
Excellent shot of goldfinches OG, mine don’t like the niger seeds, they prefer sunflower hearts. We did have 8 goldfinches but now only 4 at any one time. Our male greenfinch seems to have attracted a mate, then another female appeared so we’re hoping for another male now.
Hope my countdown clock doesn’t get to zero before EJ arrives (day after tomorrow). Sooo exciting seeing them all coming back.
