Birdies LG DU update.
I've been out and just switched on to see Maya calling and mantling, and she has now gone after an intruder :(

she certainly was mantling and I think whoever it is, hasnt left yet
ROP's FB page (at 14.40 today): [Rutland Osprey Project] "Maya has not had a fish for two days. Sadly there have been no confirmed sightings of 28 since 10am yesterday."
This situation is heart breaking. I keep hoping for a miracle, but think it's too late for that now. I can no longer watch. Thanks for all the posts.

Oh No! I thought I would read the comments hoping for a miracle before I checked in on the webcam. Gutted :(
Have any of you read or seen this situation before, where the male of the nest has been chased away?!
I wish a fish would drop on the nest at this moment in time! especially now its too late for the eggs anyway.

Tina, I think IF it is going to happen it would usually occur before eggs were laid or at least before incubation started.
Maya had at least 2 hours uninterrupted this afternoon, she only got up to stretch her legs briefly:
Then the intrusions started:
She is sitting at the moment.
But that's all academic - these eggs can't be viable now, I understand :-( We just need her to feed herself, or get fed (better!) and move on :'(
