Thanks for all your earlier posts. ROP are saying on FB ( 6 mins. ago) that they have had an unconfirmed sighting of Blue 28, on the bay, this morning. Finger crossed.
oh no is that 28 with a damaged wing???
Hopefully he is okay, he had a wonky wing before is it worse.
stingray - he already had a damaged wing, is it worse than it was?

Eggs home alone again :(
There were two small earthquakes in Rutland yesterday and this morning I think, that could be why the birds are unsettled - let's hope it is nothing more serious
oh wow! earthquakes. maybe it is.
Didn't know (and hadn't noticed) he had a damaged wing before! sorry. three or four primaries on right wing askew. Just thought he done it in a battle to defend.
So glad he is back but as Maya took off, he stood looking around (not at eggs), then took off himself so some disturbance? seemingly no thoughts about brooding :(
This is the blog that talks about Blue 28(10)'s kinky wing. He wasn't on the nest very long earlier, and stood in one position. It might have been the way he folded his wings on landing that made it so much more pronounced. However, I certainly hadn't noticed as much before, so I hope all is well. He has probably been having a hard time of it off the nest.

ROP on FB comment, say that they think he has lost a primary which makes him look more wonky than usual. No more news
