Patily - 5F(12) was from Site K in Rutland Water.
Father 08 (01) who is no longer with us and mother 30 (05) who is the sattelite tagged bird currently on Senegal coast.

I thought it was about time this thread made a reappearance as we could well have ospreys at Rutland in no more than a fortnight's time.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

There is a suspicion he actually arrived on the evening of 16th.
He was first seen in a blizzard.
Then March was the year of the snow.
Interestingly he was eating a needlefish. I did not know that they were any of those in Rutland
