I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
I really want the helping hand to continue, it would be too cruel if it was stopped. I don't care what anyone says they deserve to be given a chance.

Totally agree Starling especially if their current situation had the hand of man all over it.
This is the hottest osprey story on the internet just now. It is being discussed across the world.
Tiger Signature
I saw you were on the Nelson chat forum last night Tiger! I was lurking! It is certainly a worrying, intriguing story, and capturing everyone's interest. Even if there is a modicum of intervention with magical appearance of fish without anyone admitting it is being delivered, I'm glad that at least Nellie and the remaining chicks are surviving.

One isn't safe anywhere these days! :)
I just take it for granted he'll be in there somewhere :)
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Really Tiger? Mind you I think lot of us on chatter last night were European - I could tell by the chat and the examples. I cant access the fb page you sent me as I dont have an account.
You also wouldn't be surprised to know that Tiger was his usual calm voice of wisdom - sharing practical information and relevant stories of the past and present amidst quite a lot of silliness and pure banter as far as I could tell!
Yep,sounds about right :)
Yes Choco thank goodness, stories of chicks bouncing off nest etc etc were more than I could stand so I gave up in the end, and the mods have a tough job more than hampered by trying to cover what was happening.
