I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Great shot Lmac

Caerlaverock - there are three eggs now!
Been watching the female incubating this morning and saw these when she got up at 11:15 and flew off :-)
only left for a brief moment when I think Yellow 80 flew in as I can see a ring.
It is the male who has a small fish in his talons and stands over the eggs eating it. The female returns at 11:30 and settles back down on the eggs

Birdies LG DU update.
KAREN - Thanks for news at Caerlaverock and Aberfoyle.
Petes Wildlife Village is showing an egg at Tweed Valley 21.4.2014 - does anyone have any information on this. Not sure if I saw any news on this thread.
It also appears there is no blog or FB information page for Tweed valley this year. Any help here ?
I have found a cam and it appears the female maybe sitting on an egg.
Keith: As the Tweed Valley blog isn't up and running yet, I contacted TV earlier who kindly advised me they will be getting to grips with the project soon and they believe there are two eggs. I don't have any dates.
I was watching the cam this morning and they are definitely incubating. I watched a changeover and got this capture. Pete says he noticed 'egg behaviour' yesterday. I am sure this is the male as he brought in a fish, she flew to the perch with it and he took over...
KAREN - CHLOE B - Many Thanks for TV reply - I do rely heavily on you all sometimes as away again tomorrow.
