I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
Tweet from Aberfoyle We have lift off. The male osprey has fledged! He's been nameed Lonaig. Lonaig's youger sister won't be far behind.

Aberfoyle does not give out sensitive information like that any longer.
Tiger Signature
According to the Wildlife Village Forum Website. The Aberfoyle male is Blue VD and has a tracker fitted.
Yesterday STARLING visited Lochter and posted pictures of one of the chicks still on the nest and I visited later in the day and still saw one on the nest.
Tonight there was an empty nest so can confirm all three chicks have fledged.
They were flying around and one of them after short bursts returned to the nest others to perch amongst the trees.
Two differant juveniles in flight tonight.
.
Excellent news Keith, thank you.
Really awful news.

From Montana Osprey CamsHi all,Just a little while ago a semi-tanker capsized and spilled industrial chemicals into the river not too far above the Hellgate nest. About 25 miles of the Clark Fork River have been closed to people, from about 10 miles upstream of the Hellgate nest to about 15 miles downstream. I am not sure what the chemicals (or how much) were that spilled into the river, nor how they might affect aquatic life and Ospreys. I will keep you posted as information comes out.Erick Greene
Positive news on the chemical spill
Morning Tiger,
Just saw a note on "Gabfest" that the Clark Fork River is now safe again,
