I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......

Every blog has its own unique address. In this case it is New Screen stars are a hit
If you click that you get the proper address. See here
You should always quote the individual address or the blog will slip with time.
NB. There does seem to be a problem if you come to the blog from the main page. It works ok but when you click the name I suggested the URL does not change. Not sure why that is so.
Tiger Signature
Ok will try again and see if I can correct it this time. I have done it before with success so I must be missing out a step.

It is not you. I now know what is wrong.
The site has two different domains
1 http://tweedvalleyospreys.com/
2. http://www.tweedvalleyospreys.co.uk/
1 works properly. 2 Does not.
Yes Tiger I have just figured that out. I tried again and still it didn't work, but I have sorted it now using a different link.
Phew! LOL

I see that the <home> link does not work on the .com address.
Seems to me that that blog needs a bit or sorting out.
ChloeB spoils you all with links that almost always work.
Chick fledges at Caerlaverock.
Good to hear on the sighting in Wicklow - pity its not closer to me! Where is the link to the one seen in Spain Tiger please? Coincidentally a colleague at work holidaying on one of the Canary Islands about a month ago told me about a bird diving into the sea which caused quite a stir. He said lots of people were photographing it as it stayed around to eat its catch. He was amazed when I told him about ospreys!
Can the bird in Wicklow be identified Tiger?
Thanks SHEILA and everybody So nice to have lots of good news from TV after the tragedy but what happened to the male bird who was on nest 1 at the time?

It is all in the same blog.
Another Borders bred osprey has been spotted this summer over in County Wicklow in Ireland. This bird, bearing the blue Darvic ring CL1, was ringed in 2012 and his safe migration to Ireland really is very good news.
