I have just had a look at Sanibel cam and I see an Osprey has arrived. No idea who it is - is it Ripply from last year or a new bird. I remember last year finding a facebook/blog page about this nest but for the life of me can't remember what it was so can't compare images from last season, so if anyone else can remember......
2014 BLOG FROM Friends of the Osprey in Wales. 3 Chicks for them this year too.

Patily - A few weeks ago I was told that Blue 24s mate that she joined up with after her exploits with Dai Dot was not ringed. She had spent a good part of the summer with him so hopefully maybe she will be successful next summer along with Manton Bay Pair and they become strong nests.
I do have a feeling though we may see Blue 24 put in an appearance at Dyfi in 2015 should she return.
Thanks for that KEITH I wish her well She is such a beautiful and bold bird......but she probably will visit Dyfi on her way, as she did when she, presumably, departed
News from ORPHANED WILDLIFE REHABILITATION SOCIETY (OWL)
Graduation day for the young Osprey from Nelson. The young bird and the foster 'mom' were moved out to the Pool Cage that will shortly be home to more live trout to practice with! Both birds are enjoying the new digs and 'Nel' is pumping her wings in preparation for a first flight!
(C) - Thanks to OWL and posted on OWL Facebook.
Thank you Keith for the latest news on Nel. I hope she continues to thrive.
Dai dot was thought to be the father of chicks at llyn clywedog but i have heard over the weekend that it might not be the case,i saw B24 with a male at the reservoir many times over the summer, there are up to 10 nest platforms in the area so who knows, another may get used next year
ThanksKEITH for the latest news on Nel Doing well soI hope she continues to make progress
KEITH, another thank you from me for the good news (so far) from Nel :-)
PAUL, I didn't know there were so many platforms in the area - we just need the appropriate males and females to get together :-)
