The old female osprey Green J, fromStrathspey in Scotland, continues to live at her favourite wintering sites at Gabriel y Galan reservoir in NW Extremadura
Green J has started her migration at 10am on Sunday 5 April
I don't know if this link has been posted here before - it's a tribute to Green J on the Birds of Extremadura blog. She is known as Gabriela to birders at her wintering site.
Cirrus - I think the reason for Tiger's comment about Green J's chicks being in Spain, is that several have been translocated there - first to Andalusia, and more recently to Urdaibai.
