Morning all!

Just don't ask me for a code.
AQ: Hope the weather was better than advertised.
Had breakfast/brunch with friends today - the place was jammed, noisy and impossible to carry on a coherent conversation. We've been trying new places but think we'll default back to our old tried and true eateries.
Have a good Sunday everyone.d
Good morning, Annette, and thanks for starting the new thread. I think this week's code is WC180813.
We had a good day yesterday. Helen did her voluntary day at her riding school and was rewarded with a lesson in the afternoon. She was shattered when we collected her but she'd enjoyed the day and is looking forward to doing it again - and she's also chuffed to bits as they said she'd worked very hard!
While Helen was working we took the opportunity to pop down the road to Colchester - specifically the nearby Abberton Reservoir, where they keep having osprey sightings! Unluckily, we missed seeing one by only 15 minutes - what a pity! It was a very windy day and we didn't see too much, but we did enjoy the visit. I didn't take much in the way of photos but I did manage to catch these Canada Geese in flight:
I was delighted this came out - I didn't expect it to.
Limpy's day was complete when West Ham won their opening game - he was in such a good mood he was almost complimentary about their manager!!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
One of the Dyfi girls has just fledged!!!!
False alarm - it appears that she didn't go. The camera was freezing up and it appears that there were two chicks laying where there only appeared to be one, and the bird that flew was actually Glesni, only I didn't see her land!
EDIT: Dyfi have confirmed that Clarach did fledge, and there's a video to prove it! I'm not going completely doolally.
Good Morning All, thanks Annette for starting the new week :-)
Clare, glad Helen is enjoying her new job volunteering at the stables, it will also keep her fit, as well as the horse riding.
Going out soon visiting family.
Happy Sunday Everyone!! :-)

No you are not Clare and I have just posted the reason for all the confusion on the Dyfi thread.
Birdies LG DU update.
Afternoon Everyone: Thanks to Annette for starting us off again on yet another new week: where does the year go?
Love the Canada Geese pic, Clare - I just adore watching geese flying, and doing their honking thing. Glad to hear that Helen enjoyed her day at the Riding School, even if she was bushed afterwards!
We had a nice lunch with family yesterday, as our Youngest called in with his family on the way to visit our caravan for the next week. Little Tomasz is speaking amazingly well, and has already had good manners instilled, I'm glad to say! He managed a whole plate of 'eggy bread' and a good portion of fresh raspberries so then was allowed half a (home made) scone with blackcurrant jam as a reward.
We now have an eye on the weather map, as we are hoping that they can enjoy a real 'bucket & spade' break before they return to spend the weekend with us next week.
Now, my third attempt to put some more pics on here of our visit to the Tatton Flower Show last month.
We met these amiable fellas waiting patiently in a quiet corner of the show ground:
