LINDY love all the flower show pics, but that horse is spectacular.
Glad to know Buzz is returning to normal.
We felt a bit of a nit this afternoon. Dillon had his MOT this morning and they took blood as he has done every 6 months to check his medication is still ok for his underactive thyroid. The nurse took him off to do this while we waited to see the vet. Nurse returned Dillon with shaved leg and she said he had been an angel. Mid afternoon I was grooming him and found a bare patch on his neck. Panic set in, what was it? It did look as if it had been shaved but how strange!!!! Phone emergency vet no and luckily it was the owner and the vet we had seen. Apparently if blood cannot be taken from the leg then no 2 option is the neck. Problem solved. We did say that it would have been nice to be told and she understood.
Not surprised you were concerned, dibnlib: I would have been! They should have told you, really.
So annoying, Heather - my sympathies.
Lindy: I think those are my most favorite photos of the flower show ever. Really, really nice. I want that spiral (ripples) in my front yard. Loved the black hole and the telescopes!!!I'm glad that Buzz is recuperating. Give him a pat for me.
Lindybird, your flower show pictures really have been great today. I especially like the horse.
Me too Lindy, thanks, that horse was fantastic, so much workmanship. Glad Buzz is coming round now also :-)

Annette : Lady P is fine. We went to Stamford today and had a wander round the shops. There were a couple of buskers in the traffic free part of the town who were really good singing Beatles songs and other songs from the sixties. They were getting rounds of applause from the shoppers. We then went to Elton for lunch.

And how was he? :) :)

The potentially fabulous Perseid Meteor Shower peaks this weekend.
This year, the Perseids will peak in the overnight hours between Sunday and Monday (Aug. 11-12), but meteors will most likely be present just before and after the peak, according to NASA. "Rates can get as high as 100 per hour, with many fireballs visible in the night sky," NASA officials said.If you have cloud-covered sky (like it is here tonight), you can watch online.
Tonight: NASA webcast, 0300 GMT/UTC (3:00 a.m.) to 0700 GMT/UTC (7:00 a.m.) Tomorrow: Slooh Space Camera webcast, 2300 GMT/UTC (11:00 p.m.) and continuing all night.Click the links to convert to your own time zones.
