This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.
Let the migration season commence!
Yesterday 19 migrant ospreys were sighted going over Col d'organbidexka making a total of 53 seen at this watchpoint so far this season:

Barthes of Nivelle / Ciboure (64) 3 Ospreys (Pandion haliaetus) [Didier Domec] Comment: a more usual one for me is that since last Sunday, and a new migration in which a banded both legs; white ring (with marking, but too far) plus a metal, everyone has caught.

Alan, I would translate the Comment as: One a regular, one which I would say has been around since last Sunday, plus a newcomer on migration. One of them was ringed on both legs, with a white ring too distant to read and a metal ring. They all fished.
