This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.
Let the migration season commence!
13/04 21:10 DORSET : Osprey, Ferrybridge [S]one south then over the north end of Portland this morning13/04 21:15 SOMERSET & BRISTOL : Osprey, Blagdon Lake [S]one this afternoon
That last sighting at Blagdon Lake - it's where Nimrod roosted last night. Surely he isn't having a stopover now - he's going to have to fight to get his nest & mate back when he finally gets home.
Edit: No, Nimrod left Blagdon early Tues 13 - must have been a different osprey
I thought the Conwy sighting might have been Nimrod but it does not quite tie up with Roys data. It seems there are still a lot of ospreys en route.

Margobird
I think that most of them are back now Margobird. The sightings have dropped off today. This is the quietest day since 30th March.
