There has been a savi's warbler 2 miles away from Leighton Moss. First heard on Thursday at 8 am. It has been seen occasionally and heard singing on and off. It was last heard briefly at 7 am until 7.15 am this morning but hasn't been heard this morning since.
There is no parking at the location so if you wish to go there, park at Leighton Moss, or get the train to Silverdale station and then go into Leighton Moss visitor centre where staff will give you a map and tell you where it is. Even better you could cycle to the centre before cycling or walking down to try and hear it.
