I was on FDL all day yesterday and today and witnessed;
28/10 Several very large flocks, some with one or two thousand birds, and numerous smaller groups of Starlings were flooding onto the reserve today. They still seem unsure as to where and if they will settle. They were flying between Far Fen Lake, Elney Lake and Holywell Lake.
Be prepared to be mobile if tracking them.

27th & 28/10 Also, some very large flocks of Redwing and Fieldfare was swarming onto/over FDL, some large flocks were a mix of Redwing and Fieldfare.
