Flooding?

I expect someone better informed will reply shortly, but in case this is an urgent question that will decide today's activities, all the trails I've been down recently have been ok, if occasionally squelchy.

The bits I am not sure about are the disabled car park and the path to the hide - they were under a foot of water the last time I went passed, but that was a few weeks ago now.

Oh, the standing water has been an ideal breeding ground for insects - beware the biting bugs!

I have been down FDL most of this week and today, 23/06/2012, all is ok as far as flooding, water levels are still dropping, the only impassable stretch of pathway is up passed the discovery zone on Ferry Lagoon.

Elney Lake walk and the Coucher hide is fully accesable. The river walk is all ok.

Please bare in mind this is todays report and more floodwater may be on the way so please check on FDL website or phone for latest info.

As Mike say's, please take care, it may be slippery.
