How is the starlings mumurations coming along.from Bassar

Still very unpredictable I'm afraid. Several thousand birds sometimes show up but then they've often been dropping down into the reedbed immediately even on good weather days.
Best bring a flask of something hot and look forward to the rooks and jackdaws flocking around the trees beyond the car park, and the gull roost on Drayton Lagoon - the starlings are then a bonus if they turn up!
