Small passerine Linnet 60+, Goldfinch 50+, Pipets and wagtails

a quick summary of half an hour lunch break

Things will get slowly better as we go into October along with the weather I hope we are already at 85mm for the Crook and still 10 days to go until the end of september.

  • Lapwings are now up to 150 which is good news they are roosting in the castle wetlands quiet alot of the time and using the Crook when they are disturbed.

    A party of Long tail tits  with their metalic call working the hedgerows at Baldoon as I and volunteer was collecting berries from the local Hawthorns for local provence seed.
