Great set of photos Jim, I missed this post first time around but eventually found it on page 2. Love the tree sparrow starting off this thread and all the coastal birds, looks like you had a lovely day for your trip and got a good range of birds. I've never been to Bempton Cliffs so must put it nearer to the top of the bucket list LOL

Thanks Hazel, its a nice place and quite easy walking if I can do it anyone can :) you can do both side easily in a day, I would do the left side first then the second half you would have the sun behind you, best time to go would be in June when the young are about so you would get the birds coming back with food for the chicks, I will be booking a couple of day ether before I go to Seahouses because Leighton Moss is booked after I get back :)

Gannets are so photogenic, but I do like fulmars as well, especially when it's a bit breezy.
I went for the first time in April last year, so was thinking of going later this year, too, as I never got the Gannets with chicks last time.
