Their words not mine...
"Rob's got a real eye for the reptiles"
"If we played a game of staring into the eyes and seeing who would blink first, she would probably beat us"
"She has eyelids like all lizards and she can blink"
"Electric green - they've kind of stolen David Bowie's makeup case. And that's for them to compete with each other and show off to the girls"
I rest my case.

morning pudweena - are these smiley faces??
managed to capture more bonus shots of kestrel chicks last night - three returned to box quite late on - had shock this morning logging on - looked like camera had been switched off but it is back now thank goodness - empty at mo but hopes for more sightings later - makes for more restful viewing than the sad events at LG!!
Yes they are and it's a shame I'm so technically challenged or I would be able to come up with some better symbols!
Dom, you could direct an Arne movie with your expertise.
only time these symbols work properly is in Instant Messenger to my knowledge - I like the robot!! Is anyone good with camera values?? I am looking to buy SLR with 18xzoom but don't know how good that is in distance values - help please!!!!!!!!!
sorry for asking non-kestrel question on this forum but tried techie thread yesterday and no replies - not strictly non-kestrel anyway - need more zoom to get pics of my birds here!!
Hi Wendy
Just happened to see your post. You might want to browse the Gear Guide on the main forum if you are thinking about investing in a SLR camera. Many people have sought advice about new camera purchase so you may find something useful there.
It's always difficult to give specific recommendations because it depends so much on budget, how much kit you are prepared to carry and what you are trying to do.
Good luck
Fantastic! Rob's s star! My son already thinks that tho, let him hold a grass snake when we went the the last reptile weekend at Arne. :-)
Thanx doggie & tj - have posted a message on gear guide re the camera I have in mind - maybe I'll get a reply - just had a quick peek at flickr - maybe will post a pic one day (after much practice)!!
I think I recognised that smooth snake they featured from Rob's reptile stash too Jot.
