Congratulations to all involved in the festival. Great new event and hope to see it repeated.
Dorset Bat Group was very interesting with their range of british bats and the depth of knowledge especially from Sally.Rural crafts and games, pizza and hog roast all added to the day. Plus some music.Gorgeous craft and produce stalls. Our garden is sporting a new bird feeder created at the event which is already feeding the local blue and great tits. Thanks to you all for a great day .....looking forward to the next one!
A bird doesn't sing because it has answers. It sings because it has a song.
Hear!Hear! Thanks to all at the RSPB for a very enjoyable day and even the music provided by our own multi-talented ranger and his band!
Thanks for your kind comments. We received some great feedback from a lot of visitors today. It was great to see the Festival evolve from the smaller first event last year. The sunshine certainly added to that magical autumnal feel, and the smell of wood burners and freshly cooked food wafting across the farm fields with Sika Deer bellowing in the background was truly magical.
Thank you to EVERYBODY that came today and supported our work.
The hog roast was truly scrumptious. And Rob played a mean fiddle / lute / guitar.
Was it a Wild Boar Hog roast Dom..??
