I would be grateful for some recommendations of good bird books from the professional/seasoned birders among you as there are hundreds around. I do have some books but they don't all mention details of various seasonal plumage/first winter moults etc. or certainly not for all birds and wonder if there is anything like a comprehensive bird encyclopaedia, say, that is a good reference book to own that anyone would particularly recommend. Thanks.
