Hi it has just started to snow here and a large flock of goldfinchs has just landed in the tree there must be about 50 of them, my feeder are full up with goldfinchs, with loads waitingfor they turn!
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
That's trumped my odd one or two, lol! How cute are they?! Makes me feel all mushy, lol!
I am still getting a small group of up to 17 on one occasion, but mostly 9 or 10. There are 9 in this photo I think
Cheers, Linda.

Hi sparrow,
Nice photo, please could you send some my way,i havn't seen one.
Great photo Sparrow - were you hanging out of a window again there? LOL
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!

very nice Sparrow, would you like some chaffinches now? I have lots. lol
Oh there are 10 in the pic :-)
Janet - thank you, you are quite right, there are 10. I must alter my weekly BTO garden count!! I would dearly love some chaffinches. One regular would be very nice.
Squirrel - yes, I was hanging out of the window again!
Littleowl - OK, I'll post two to you, but any more and you will have to ask Janet or Buzzard.
Janet :- Stunning pictures, I thought I had a few feeders, don't feel so bad now. I see somebody has taken quite a bit of time to fix up a lot of small hooks. Great results.
I only get 2 Goldfinches.
Paul E :- Green finches.... I've never seen a green finch, let alone had one grace my garden.!!
Dangerous :- wonderful picture .... Swoons.
Anybody want a few Starlings.. I have several hundred.!

SB, the Tom Chambers is my best buy, so thanks again for the recommendation! I wouldn't have had any goldies without it.
Hi Dangerous
What a fabulous photo! You must have been over the moon to catch that. Cracking shot.

Kerry
