Hope you enjoy these. about 4 hours in the greenhouse sweating.
Saw the young for the first time this morning. started No3 to save going through the other pictures
Thought they were going to fledge but still in there at 8pm the parents are really busy.
This experience is a big first for me and worth sharing.
Fingers crossed for fledging Ray

Oh wow! Lovely photos. So pleased for you, I've been rooting for this family ever since you first posted about the nest. They look on the brink of fledging, bet they are out any day now!

Blimey Ray, those are wonderful captures. How lucky are you. Those gapes make them look so grumpy! I bet they are gone tomorrow by the looks of them. Good luck from me little ones.
Cheers, Linda.

Been a bit lucky
More to follow later
Up at 5 this morning, no sign of movement thoght they had gone.
5 40 the parents turned up and started feeding at long intervals, still no sign of chicks, but parents were removing sacs,
Checked again about 10 and saw movement
between feeds two were getting brave, one in particular kept pecking the perch as if to test it.
Mum and dad kept coming back and feeding but not large ammounts
Then one went for the perch Sorry if a bit blurred
And shot back inside
Mum and dad came and had words
then about 12 30 two came out so fast didn't get a shot.
Could see at least two more in the box. one parent was still feeding them and the other was taking care of the two that fledged in a nearby bush.
Decided to come away and leave them to it.
GOOD LUCK THE COAL TIT FAMILY and don't forget to visit
Those photos are all very special, Ray. Well done indeed.
I wish them all the luck there is in this big wide world, and hope they continue to visit you. Good luck little coal tits.
Sparrow and doggie have said it all - lovely photos, wishing the littl'uns lots of luck out there.
