Didn't know where to post this really...
Anyway, this moth was in our office kitchen today! Only about 1.5 cm across but wow, what a moth! Just had to share it! :-)
Against the window with the light behind, you can see the 'plumes' quite clearly! Gorgeous!

Thanks everyone! I ALWAYS have my camera with me, all day, every day! You just never know!! Missed too many opportunities in the past by not having it so that soon changed!
Great caterpillar WF!! It's a pale tussock moth caterpillar! Lovely hairy little beasts!! :-)
Marjus, thanks for identification of caterpillar. I had no idea and was about to get book out. I bow to your greater knowledge. I know who to refer to now.
Thank you Brenda, but I only know a few, and those that I don't I always look up as I like to know what things are! I'm no expert but would always be happy to help if I could!! :-)
Thanks marJus, I don’t have a particularly good book and struggled to identify it, I was hoping someone would.
Build it and they will come.
Hi Squirrel
Thank you for correcting me {wink}
Silly me asking a question about the Moth when the thread is named after the Moth
Must have been dreaming when I typed the post LOL
