We have a small feeder in the garden that is used for water when there is snow or when it is very hot. As we do not have any snow in Kent yet it is full of peanuts for the birds and as I was working near the window today I got a few photos of the visitors, they love the peanuts today. I have posted a few photos below but they are not great as they are through the window, the woodpecker shots are on my neighbours feeders but I managed to get a shot of both male and female GSW. There is also a small tit that I think is a Coal tit but may be a very pale great tit, what do you think?
Have a good weekend.
Kieron

Thanks Kieron, lovely photographs of your garden birds.
Hello Kieron, lovely little collection of pictures, thanks for sharing them!
Lucky you to get GSWs visiting your garden, they avoid mine like the plague!
And your unidentified tit is indeed, as others have stated, a coal tit.
Regards, Anna :)
Hi Kieron, nice pics, as others have stated your little chappie is indeed a Coal Tit, note the white stripe down the back of the head.
I'm jealous of your woodpecker, mines not been around since last winter, must be due a visit soon.

Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone.
Thank you to everyone who replied about the Coal Tit, next effort is to photograph to long tailed tits but I have not seen them for a little while, maybe they have moved on for the winter.
We also have a Green woodpecker Juno but he is shy (but noisy) and mainly sticks to the trees when I have the camera out! I will catch him on the ground one day!
Lovely pictures. I too had some long tailed tits this week, but only passing through i fear. fingers crossed yours return

Joining this forum certainly seems to have changed my luck photographing birds! I took these two while strolling through the woods earlier, made my weekend seeing such lovely birds!
Have a good week everyone!
