I saw a white starling

How rare are they? Never saw one before.

  • Hi MattosBird and thanks for sharing your photo of the white starling.   From time to time birds do turn up with abnormal plumage, usually Leucism where there is loss of pigmentation;   if it was a true albino the bird would have pink eyes.      HERE you can read about it and you can add your sighting to the BTO database if you want to.
