It has been a very wet day here....until I got home from work. In a short space of time the rain stopped, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out! A number of our local birds were quick to take advantage of this:
There were also a few gulls around:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
No Clare and to breed, he had at least four broods last year!!!
Lot to learn
Perhaps the ladies like a man who looks different to the others.
Lovely set of photos Clare; (and your photos too Gaynor) seems we all had pretty much the same weather today from dark stormy rain clouds to cloudless blue sky and sunshine ! Birds were hiding much of the day except for some rather stunning Corvids who are looking in really good condition after their moult. Hope your BBird recovers its feathers soon.
